Thunder Bird is the first final boss in The Adventure of Link. BEFORE fighting this boss you MUST have learned thunder spell!
thunder bird cant be hurt in the beginning of the battle ( his lava-red form ). use thunder spell to make his defence disappear. he will now be blue so next step is to avoid the fire balls he throws at you while flying over you, this can be hard, so next step needs some real skills: try to jump and hit its head! that's his weak-point.
