The '''Silver Rupee''' is a valuable [[Rupee]] in all games it appears in except for ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]''. It is only found in Treasure Chests in all other games it appears in. In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'', it appears in later dungeons and when Link collects all the Silver Rupees in a dungeon, it unlocks a hidden or locked area such as a door or a Treasure Chest.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]'', the Silver Rupee is worth 200 Rupees making it the most valuable Rupee in the game. An easy way to get an infinite source of Silver Rupees in ''Twilight Princess'' is to first collect all 60 [[Poe Soul]]s, and then give them to [[Jovani]]. He thanks Link for collecting them for him, and gives link a Silver Rupee. Exit his [[Jovani's House|house]]. Later, Link can re-enter the house and speak to [[Gengle]], Jovani's cat, who gives Link a Silver Rupee. This can be done unlimited times.
