How to Unlock

reference to the locations of the Breath of the Wild Interactive Map, there is two types of memories you can recover, a location based memory that is related to the main quest "Captured Memories", of which you will see a yellow shiny thing that you will interact with, the second type is quest based, where you need to certain main or side quests to unlock the memory (i.e. the master sword memory).

Quest Based Memory

Recovered Memory #2 - Revali's Flap

To unlock this memory, talk to the Elder of the Rito, he will tell you to find Teba so he can assist you in taking down the Devin Beast, after that go talk to Saki, Teba's wife, she will tell you where Teba is, and it will trigger the memory

Recovered Memory #18 - The Master Sword

This memory is unlocked after obtaining the master sword from the Great Hyrule Forest, the Master Sword is obtainable via having at least 13 heart container.
