The Purple Rupee is a variation of the currency of Hyrule, Rupees. The color of a Rupee tells Link how much it is worth. It is not available in all of The Legend of Zelda series' games. The Purple Rupee is the standard color rupee that is worth fifty rupees.
The Purple Rupee is worth 50 Rupees in all of the games it's in.
