Piyoko (Non-Canon)
In the manga of Oracle of Ages, Piyoko is a small chicken that hatched on the farm of Link's grandparents. She accompanies Link during his travel through Holodrum. After the Temple of Seasons sinks, Link is able to understand creatures and even plants and so Piyoko is giving him advices on the quest.
When Link battles Onox, Piyoko attacks him, trying to help Link but is struck down. Though she dies in this battle, in the end she re-appears as a full grown chicken but Link cannot understand her anymore.
