Music references in Breath of the Wild

-The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild has a very unique style of music and is very different from the grand themes from other Zelda games such as The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks, and Skyward Sword.

-Unlike these games, the music in Breath of the Wild is very subtle and quiet and perfectly fits the themes of Breath of the Wild. Even though most of the music in Breath of the Wild is different there are a lot of music references to past games.

-here I will be listing all of the music references Found so far.

1. The Zora's domain music is a slowed-down version of Zora's Domain from Ocarina of Time.

2. The Rito village music is a remix of the Dragon Roost Island from The Wind Waker.

3. The temple of Time music is a slowed-down version of the Song of Time from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

4. The stable music sounds very similar to Epona's song from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Also later in the game, Kass will be at the stables playing Epona's Song on his accordion.

5. The horse riding song during the day has the main theme from The Legend of Zelda playing in the background quietly.

6. The horse riding song during the night has Zelda's Lullaby from A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time playing quietly in the background.

7. The Hyrule Castle music could have very many music references to other songs from other games such as Zelda's Lullaby from Ocarina of Time, Ganon's Tower from Ocarina of Time, and Farewell King of Hyrule from The Wind Waker. those are just a few of the many music references from the Hyrule castle from Breath of the Wild.

8. The death mountain music at one point could be a reference to the level 9 music from The Legend of Zelda.

9. The shrine music at one point could be a reference to the title theme from Ocarina of Time.

10. The Hateno Village music could be a reference to the house theme seen in many Zelda games including Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword.

11. The song that plays right before the Calamity Ganon battle could be a reference to the destruction of the moon song from Majora's Mask.

12. This same song could also be a reference to Oath to Order from Majora's Mask.
