Link's Mother

Not much is known about Link's mother. It appears she is only mentioned in Ocarina of Time. In previous games (such as A Link To The Past and The Minish Cap) he lives with his uncle, Smithy. Link's mother is never seen in any game. Who are links parents? They can't be the King and Queen of Hyrule. This would mean Zelda is Link's sister. Seeing that this would disgust many families and that Nintendo is a family friendly company, this cannot be true meaning every other generation of Link's children are seen in the games set apart by numerous years.
