Infinite Horse Stamina is a technique used in Breath of the Wild. Performing this technique fully recharges the horse stamina while riding the horse.
How-To Perform
- Link must have a Shield and a Bow equipped, as well as least one Arrow in the active quiver.
- Hold the target button (ZL), the action button (A), and the Bow button (ZR). With all 3 buttons held, tap the Jump button (X).
- If done correctly, the horse stamina should be fully recharged, despite it not showing as available on the indicator.
- This technique will not work while traveling downhill on a horse. It will only work while riding on flat ground or uphill.
- If the technique fails, Link will jump off of the horse while performing a Shield Jump. If this happens, it is recommended to either use the Paraglider or unequip the Shield to avoid damaging it while landing.
Why This Works
Dismounting and remounting the horse recharges all of its stamina. Performing this technique dismounts and remounts the horse very quickly.
Uses
- Having an infinite number of gallops allows Link to travel across great distances on a horse at a faster speed rather than waiting for the horse stamina to recharge.
- In speedruns, Infinite Horse Stamina is allowed in all Normal and Bug-Limit categories.
