The Head of the Turtle is a mini-boss from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Its appearance is that of a demonic turtle head that rests across the entrance to Turtle Rock. When Link plays the "Frog's Song of Soul", it comes to life and attacks. The Head of the Turtle attacks by extending its neck and thrusting its head at Link. It is only vulnerable to swords. Upon its defeat, the head disappears, opening the way into Turtle Rock.
