A Gold Rupee is a variation of the standard Rupee introduced in A Link to the Past. It is worth 300 Rupees in all games it appears in.

A Link to the Past
In a Link to the Past, the God Ruppee first appears.
Phantom Hourglass
In Phantom Hourglass, Gold Rupees can be found while Link is sailing around in his ship. Some treasures underwater can hold a gold rupee.
Spirit Tracks
Gold Ruppees can be found much like any other large ruppee, in secret locations, or in chests.
Skyward Sword
Twilight Princess
In Twighlight Princess, a gold ruppee can be found at the back of one of the houses. It is obtainable only by using the boomerang or other such item.
