'''Gale Isle''' is an island three squares to the east of the [[Forsaken Fortress]] in the [[Great Sea]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]''. On the outside of the island is a strong wind that keeps anyone from getting close to the middle of the island, protecting the entrance to the [[Wind Temple]] inside. If [[Link]] gets the [[Iron Boots]] from [[Ice Ring Isle]], he can slowly walk through the wind, smashing the source with the [[Skull Hammer]]. Inside of the cave is a tablet teaching the [[Wind God's Aria]]. Link must bring [[Makar]] here in order to play a duet with the deceased [[Wind Sage]] [[Fado (The Wind Waker)|Fado]] to destroy the tablet, opening the entrance to the temple. | |||
