Easter Egg

Easter eggs are curiosities developers put throughtout a game and The Legend of Zelda series has many of them.

Below is a list of known easter eggs in Zelda games.

Ocarina of Time

After passing through the Castle Courtyard in Hyrule Castle and before meeting Zelda, take a look through the window to your right. You will spot pictures of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser from the Super Mario series.

3D version Mario and co. are gone but they're replaced by a Mario level with pipes.

In Malon's room there's a poster of SS Link on the floor by a wall next to her cabinet.

In the Thieves's Hideout in a room there's another poster of SS Link behind a crate.

The Wind Waker

Look at the walls in the room where the Master Sword rests inside Hyrule Castle. There are stained-glass windows depicting the Sages from Ocarina of Time and one depicting Ganon.

Skyward Sword

Open the cabinet inside Zelda's room in the Knight's Academy and you'll find a Tingle doll.
