The Cyclone Slate is a key item in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
The cyclone slate is given to you by Golden Chief Cylos and gives link the power to "warp" across the sea with the help of cyclones.
However the Cyclone slate is useless on its own. Without Symbols obtained by finding the golden frogs scattered throughout The Realm of the Ocean King. (Where you must find and shoot each golden frog with the ships cannon) They will then give you a symbol that allows you to transport to the area in which you found the specific golden frog. There are a total of 6 golden frogs that you can find.
