When released near a patch of [[Soft Soil]], the bug will reveal a [[Gold Skulltula]]. [[Link]] may also sell the bug to a shop for fifty rupees. In Majora's Mask, Link call also release bugs in patches of soft soil to receive arrows, rupees or bombs. If a bottle'd bug is released, three bugs will come out from the battle, giving the possibility to catch them again and increase the bug supply. This can be used to make a good amount of rupees, as you can sell all but one bug, release it and catch the bugs coming out of the bottle, and repeating the process.
