The lost korok can be found to the West of the map marker. Just across the body of water.

Attach the Korok to the nearby Spring and bring it to the base of the cliff. Activate the spring, launching the Korok into the air. Climb to the top of the cliff and use Recall on the Korok - at the apex of its arc, cancel Recall, swap to Ultrahand, and catch the Korok before it falls. Deliver the Korok to its friend.

Alternatively you can attach all the near by boards together to make a long plank with the 2 beams angled at 45 degrees (so you can grab it from the top). Attach the Korok at one end, climb the hill, grab the logs and rotate the construction around so you can grab the Korok and take him to his friend.
