== Editing Advice ==
Hey there, Aurelia! I hope you're having a wonderful day today! I wanted to give you some advice on editing. I noticed that you're starting to add more information to articles, which is fantastic, but you could always improve your editing quality. For starters, make sure that ALL game name titles are italicized. At the bottom of every page you're in the middle of editing is an extremely useful box providing links to various things, most notably various ''Zelda'' games. Use this to your advantage.
Another thing, you should start linking things. To create a link, you simply wrap 4 brackets around a set of text. For example: "<nowiki>[[Tingle]]</nowiki> ran across a field. Tingle then ran across ice." The four brackets will create a link, in this case, it would be a clickable link to a page filled with Tingle's information. Looking back at that example, did you notice how Tingle was mentioned twice but I only put brackets around the first time he was mentioned? Be sure to remember that, because linking something more than once on the same page is considered redundant.
In the event you begin to create articles (also known as pages), please make sure the page does not already exist. I, myself, have made this mistake countless times. If you find a page that is requested on the [http://www.zeldadungeon.net/wiki/Special:WantedPages Wanted Pages] list, but already exists, you must redirect it. You can redirect something by using <nowiki>#REDIRECT [[]]</nowiki>. Inside the four brackets, insert the correct page name that you want the duplicate article to link to. I hope that doesn't sound complicated.
If you ever run into a page that is listed as a Stub, that's your cue to add more info to it. If you feel a page deserves to be flagged as a Stub, you can add <nowiki>{{Stub}}</nowiki> to the top of an article. Only list an article as a Stub if you feel more information could be added onto it in the future. Also, if a page lacks a category be sure to add one. Categories can be made with <nowiki>{{Cat|(Game Name) + (Category it falls under)}}</nowiki>. For example: <nowiki>{{Cat|Ocarina of Time Characers}}</nowiki>. If you're unsure about what the category should be, bring it up on the article's Talk Page.
That's about it. If you have any questions, be sure to ask me, another Patroller, or any admin you see online. We'd be more than happy to assist you. Take care now! [[User:Atticus|Atticus]] 00:14, November 18, 2012 (CST)
