Hover Boots: Difference between revisions

The '''Hover Boots''' are one of the boots Link can use in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]''. They are used in the [[Shadow Temple]] and allows [[Link]] to hover for a few seconds in the air when he walks off a ledge. However, they have no traction and Link will slide on land while using them, making them impractical for travel. They can be obtained by defeating a [[Dead Hand]] as an adult in the Shadow Temple inside a treasure chest.  

They can also be used in the [[Haunted Wasteland]] to avoid sinking into the sand. Some may use them in the Bongo Bongo fight, but they aren't a necessity to defeat that boss. Despite the few puzzles the boots are used for, they have no other true use unless the player finds a use for them they personally like.
