There’s no doubt in my mind that the Zelda series has birthed a whole generation of gamers. By providing us with countless adventures, the franchise has given us moments we’ll never forget and helped us to share the joy of gaming with both family and friends. And the story of series, from its inception, to its rise to power, to its sustained popularity with fans, is quite a fascinating one.
The video we’re checking out today comes to us from Macintyre Rise and takes a close look at how the Zelda franchise has grown over the years. Rise looks at how the series began and developed, the core structure Zelda has held onto, and the perspectives of Zelda fans. He even explores how the Zelda franchise has influenced other games, citing how Hollow Knight developer Team Cherry confirmed that one of the inspirations for their game was The Adventure of Link.
