One could say that this has been one of the longest development cycles of a main series Zelda game ever. It certainly feels that way. But really, we have been waiting for Zelda Wii U for not much longer than we did for, say, Skyward Sword or even Ocarina of Time. The numerous side-games, spin-offs, and remakes, the very early delay after the initial release date was revealed, and of course the obnoxious lack of news, all make time simply…

In one of the latest GameOver Jesse videos the idea of Link’s action leading to conflict in Hyrule is explored. It is shown that through the actions of Link intervening he unintentionally negatively influences Hyrule. This video follows Links journey throughout Ocarina of Time and shows how the split timelines link back to his actions. It shows how Link being sent back to a child in the Adult Timeline leads to the land becoming defenseless when Ganondorf rises to power,…

The most recent theory-sparking element of Zelda Wii U footage we have seen is easily the little book Link was carrying in the November Nintendo Direct footage. Well, the time has come. As Zelda Month 2015 comes to an end, PBG bites the bullet and plays through Zelda’s Adventure on Phillips CD-i, finally finishing all three infamous Zelda titles on the horrid console. This game is extremely different from The Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon, but is that actually a good thing? Does the fact that it is a lot more similar to traditional Zelda games make it worth trying out? PBG is getting into…

It is no secret that Twilight Princess is a true fan favorite in the series, and many are quite excited about the upcoming HD remake, but there are times when we crazy fans need to step back and look at one of our favorite games critically, at the things that could be seriously improved in the HD version. That being said, we have hear almost as much negativity about what we saw of Twilight Princess…

This is a question that has lingered in the minds of fans for a very long time. The value of these odd little gems of various colors that Link shoves into his magic pockets is obvious based on their colors, but only in Hyrule. A while back, MatPat over on Game Theory determined the value of every individual rupee Link collects. He is actually joined by PeanutButterGamer, in a collaboration celebrating his yearly Zelda Month video series. How much do…
