Women of Legend: Tetra

September 13 2015 by Alasyn Eletha

In the last Women of Legend the ZD staff discussed one of Zelda’s reincarnates, specifically her role as Sheik in Ocarina of Time. We were reminded that Zelda took on the persona known as Sheik in order to protect the land that she endangered as a child while the Hero of Time was in a deep slumber. This time around, we will be discussing another one of Zelda’s dual roles; Tetra from The Wind Waker, and how this time the…

As most of us are probably aware, the most recent issue of Famitsu published with a number of Hyrule Warriors Legends screenshots showcased within it. We covered all of the new features present in the visuals, but GameXplain has pulled some further insights from the issue’s translation and detailed them in a recent video. The analysis goes into detail about the Helmaroc King’s attacks, what the game’s story may be about, and how the new Golden Ocarina will communicate with…

During this past E3 we learned that Koei Tecmo was working on a 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors dubbed, Hyrule Warriors Legends. Well, last week, I stated that I wouldn’t be easy to get rid of. Apparently, all it took was a promotion at work. Because of my new schedule taking up even more of my time and the needs of my family, this is going to be my last post here at Zelda Informer. I want to thank not only the team here, but all of you as well for being a part of my life here over the past year. I’m not gone forever, though. I’ll be joining your ranks and remain a fan of the site, so I will see you all there for sure. In the meantime…

As most of us already know, Hyrule Warriors is coming to the 3DS and bringing some new friends along with it. Both Tetra and the King of Hyrule will be joining the roster for Hyrule Warriors Legends, and suitably the game will include somewhat of a Wind Waker style story-arc and new stages, according to this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. Additionally, Tetra will brandish some unique weapons and both newcomers will of course have their own distinctive movesets. Alexis…

Remember LEGOs? Those fun little building blocks from childhood that always seemed to get lost and that the internet now regards as the equivalent to spiked-footfalls in video games? Building with those was always a good time to test one’s creativity as the kits were rarely finished as desired; it was more about the adventure than the finished product. As it turns out, Zelda fans love adventures, because there is once again a Zelda LEGO set doing exceptionally well in…

Romance may not be the number one thing some fans focus on in The Legend of Zelda series, but there are plenty out there that really do pay attention to it. That said, I decided to run through every game and see just how often Link actually does (or at least conceivably could) get the girl. Keep in the mind, the girl doesn’t always have to be Zelda, either…
