YouTube musician JemyMusic has out together one awesome cover, and while it is her first Zelda cover, perhaps we will hear more from her soon. Check out the remix after the jump!

If you’re looking a bit of nostalgia, this new remix will transport you back to your first Zelda days! Nothing beats the Spanish guitar in LarryInc64‘s new remix of Gerudo Valley from Ocarina of Time. If any Zelda tune should get a mariachi cover, it’s the Latin-flavored Gerudo Valley theme, with it’s soulful guitar, emotive horns, and syncopated beat. DaneYard Shift, a mariachi band that has covered a number of video game songs on Youtube, brings us such a rendition, in a rousing performance of the theme to 6/4 time…

You can go to the Symphony of the Goddesses, you can watch awesome covers of Zelda songs on YouTube, and you can make your own creative renditions of the series music, but nothing – NOTHING – quite reaches the majesty and musical prowess… of the kazoo. YouTuber Tsuko G. tasked himself wiyth making a Gerudo Valley cover on this marvelous instrument, and he did an awesome job. Check out the video after the jump!

The Gerudo Valley theme is perhaps one of the most popular themes from Ocarina of Time, and for good reason.  The unique rhythmic groove, along with the epic setting it evokes, has kept it relevant in everything from symphonic arrangements, to soothing guitar covers.  To some extent, it seems like it’d be particularly difficult to capture the epic nature of the piece on something as subdued as say, a kazoo.  Enter Tsuko G. of Kazoo’d…

I’m a fan of hockey, and a fan of Zelda. So when those two entirely different worlds collide, I can’t help feeling like my birthday has come several months early. And it just so happens that this collision took place just a few weeks ago when the Calgary Flames organist played the theme for Gerudo Valley during a game. If that’s not cool enough, later during that same game, the main Zelda theme itself was played. Clearly the organist is…

What started as an April Fools’ Day joke was actually followed through this week when Triple-Q, a mashup creator on YouTube, released Super Style Oppas. This album, which contains every song from the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U soundtrack combined with songs from Psy and other artists, features over 70 different songs from multiple Nintendo franchises. As such, a few songs from the Zelda series appear on the album, and they all sound great…

YouTube remixing personality Triple Q has released his new album: Super Style Oppas for Psyii U & 3DStyle: A Styling Soundtrack. Triple Q is known for his extensive remix work often involved entire soundtracks and has resulted in albums such as Dark Souls: Prepare to Psy and Cut, Paste and Kill. With his new album Triple Q tackles the Super Smash Brothers soundtrack. He took every single song on both the Red Disc and the Blue Disc and combined them…

We’ve all got our list of favourite tracks from the Zelda series and with how good the soundtracks are, it’s not surprising the songs regularly get remixed by fans. I mentioned a rather long time ago that I tend to avoid remixes because they rarely turn out as good as the original track. Of course there are a few that take a great tune and manage to make it even better. Such is the case with YouTuber MajorLeagueWobs/Holder’s 1980’s techno…
