Breath of the Wild Weapons Masterfully Recreated By Ambitious Fan

Weapon recreation has been a hobby for tons of fandoms for decades now. Whether paired with cosplay, created to be sold, or simply a means of celebrating a franchise, the feat of actualizing the imaginary should not be overlooked. Any fan creation of such magnitude speaks to the great passion and love harbored for a franchise.
For the past two years, reddit user tomvdcr has been utilizing pvc pipe and foam to create weapons from Breath of the Wild and Twilight Princess. The collection accumulated is reminiscent of Link’s large stash in the 2017 title, reminding fans of how many varied and intricate weapons have been added to the franchise. Some of the blades are even showcased along with their sheaths.
By recreating these weapons, tomvdcr has reinstilled a sense of dangerous, yet not lonely, exploration in Zelda fans. In seeing weapons like the Royal Guard’s Bow, Gerudo Daybreaker, and the Sword of the Six Sages, fans are not only compelled to jump back into Breath of the Wild, but also become increasingly excited for its upcoming sequel.
