The Zelda Reorchestrated team, more commonly shortened to “ZREO,” has been celebrating and enhancing Zelda tunes since 2004. For almost twenty years, co-founder, producer, and audio engineer Samuel Ferrara has worked closely with an ever-growing team to recreate the soundtracks of each and every Zelda game. The results have been nothing short of quality, often surpassing the original compositions of Koji Kondo and others in both sound quality and orchestral vastness.

After a decade-long hiatus, ZREO recently announced their Second Quest project, an initiative meant to carry on Zelda Reorchestrated’s rich legacy of music. In addition to launching a new website, ZREO: Second Quest this week announced “ZREO Legacy,” through which the team “will be revisiting old classics and fan-favorite albums of [their] past,” all remastered in HD for optimized streaming and accessibility.

The team’s first legacy release, Ocarina of Time Selections, featuring 73 remastered tracks from ZREO’s Ocarina of Time re-orchestration efforts, is now available for download and purchase. You can stream the album on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Youtube Music, and you can purchase songs from the album on iTunes and Amazon Music.

According to this week’s press release, ZREO: Second Quest is currently working on their next full-length album, with brand new music performed by live musicians. Stay tuned for information on upcoming ZREO: Second Quest and ZREO Legacy releases by signing up for the team’s newsletter, joining their Discord server, and following ZREO: Second Quest on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. You can also support them further by checking out their Patreon and exploring their official website.
