The time has finally come and it seems too good to be true. Tears of the Kingdom is slated for release on May 12th of this year, and Nintendo has announced a Direct covering games releasing in the first half of this year. This could very well be the Direct we’ve been waiting for, where Tears of the Kingdom becomes even more real, with a story trailer, gameplay showcases, and maybe even a new amiibo.

The Direct, which will be around forty minutes long, was announced on February 7th via the official Nintendo Twitter account:

The Direct will be streamed live here at 2 PM Pacific Time / 5 PM Easter Time, so be sure to watch if you can. If you miss it, the stream will be available on the Nintendo YouTube channel, and you can also catch up with Zelda-related news right here on Zelda Dungeon.

What do you think the Direct will consist of? What do you want to see? Do you think Tears of the Kingdom could get delayed again? Let us know in the comments below!
