Al Luijendijk, editor for this very website, contacted me earlier today wanting to do something for Iwata’s passing. Not to take advantage of it – but to honor a man who directly and indirectly affected all of our lives here at Zelda Informer. Iwata has been involved as an executive producer on many Zelda titles, but what that role necessarily entailed has always remained a mystery – he certainly wasn’t on the ground floor creating the game…

At the briefing, Satoru Iwata talked about a few…

TGIF! It’s time to celebrate the end of a long work week with Zelda Informer’s Photoshop Contest. This week we’re going to climb straight to the top of the corporate ladder and look at Zelda in the most business-like way possible. It may sound too serious, but it might be a good idea to restore our professionalism after the outrageousness that was last week’s contest: Loftwing Evolution

Satoru Iwata has finally commented on the Netflix Zelda TV Series rumors. While he has nothing to announce at this time, suggesting they are indeed planning some sort of TV Show for something at Nintendo, he did want to point out that the initial news about the Zelda Netflix TV Show was based on incorrect information. However, the way it is stated suggests that the TV Show may very much be a reality, just not in the way described. It is possible that what was reported was one of merely several different ideas pitched to Nintendo. We have no way of knowing…
