Satoru Iwata President of Nintendo Passes On From This Life

This is a sad day for all in the gaming community for we have just heard that Satoru Iwata, the President and CEO of Nintendo has passed away from a bile duct growth. Nintendo has released a notification of his death from a prolonged bought with cancer. Iwata-san became Director at Nintendo in 2000 and took over as President in 2002, becoming the first President unrelated to the Yamauchi family. This was a very important man for gamers everywhere and his presence will be greatly missed. Please take a moment today to remember Iwata for all the fantastic things that he did and we wish him a safe journey from this life. May you rest in peace, you will always be remembered!
