More info about the Hyrule Warriors Twilight Princess update appeared over on Famitsu recently. The update includes a few new costumes for Link and Midna, the Dominion rod, and maps of the new adventure mode. A few promotional images showing off the costumes have been released, as well as their Japanese prices. The update will be available in all regions on November 27th. With the Twilight Princess Pack due out this month, Aonuma has posted a miiverse announcement in the Zelda Developers’ Room community giving a sneak peek and specifying release date to be November 27th. Notably, we now know that the new character promised with this pack is Midna’s true form, Twili Midna. As for her weapon, she’ll be using the Mirror of Twilight. Check out the full post below.

For the most part Link walks the path of a loner in a vast majority of the Zelda series, and the few exceptions do little more than serve as a guide with only a few functions that actually effect gameplay such as Fi from Skyward Sword and Midna from Twilight Princess. With that in mind does Link actually need a companion, one who is more directly involved in helping Link progress through the dungeons?
