I can’t count the number of times I’ve stated that my favorite game in the Zelda series is A Link to the Past. While some of that passion for the game is tied to a personal history, I still believe that the game stands as one of the greatest experiences in gaming history. So, when Viz decided to release the Nintendo Power comic featuring A Link to the Past, I was ecstatic. Well, our friend, Derrick, over at GameXplain has uploaded a video showing off the reprint. Check out the embedded video above to get a glimpse into the magic…

In case some of you Zelda fans weren’t aware, earlier this week Viz Media released the new publication of  A Link to the Past comic that had originally appeared in Nintendo Power, over the span of a few month back in 1992. A few of us crazed fans here on the ZD staff already have our hands on it, and soon we’ll be discussing our opinions on the comic during one of our future ZD Talks. To gear up for…

Shotaro Ishinomori’s A Link to the Past comic is now available on ThinkGeek in an exclusive edition, with a special poster included! The poster is of Ishinomori’s original interior artwork, visible in the image to the left, and is likely not available anywhere else. The package is available here for $19.99, so get it while you can!

Some of you might remember during our last couple hiring sprees that we’ve been looking for Webcomic artists so we could start a slew of exclusive comics, rather than simply having to rely on some of our favorites to update seemingly at random. We felt this was important not only to expand the type of content we have here, but because many of the great comics out there aren’t centralized around Zelda, but rather another theme that happens to bring Zelda into the fold. These comics will always center around something Zelda, be it characters, items, setting, or something else entirely…

How many ways can Dorky make us laugh thanks to Zelda reated jokes? The number appears to be infinite, as they continue to make all of us at ZI smile pretty frequently with their nifty jokes and comics. Today they tackle Link’s everlasting obsession with heart pieces as we learn how he truly obtains them, and what cold heartless bastard he can be (not literally). Today, he’s talking to Malon… and it doesn’t quite go as expected… or does it…

If you were looking for another excuse to attend a Symphony of the Goddesses – Master Quest show, you’re in luck. Manga and anime publisher Viz Media announced today that it is partnering with the Symphony of the Goddesses series to bring Zelda books to concert events. This means that the recently reprinted The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past graphic novel by Shotaro Ishinomori and The Legend of Zelda manga series by Akira Himekawa will both be available for purchase at upcoming Zelda Symphony shows…

The Garfield comics, along with the various television series that came later, were one of my childhood favorites alongside the Legend of Zelda. As odd of a combination as this might be, it’s not all that strange to Garfield creator, Jim Davis, who spoke of his love for the Zelda series in a recent interview with Venturebeat…

Dorkly has done it again, releasing another hilarious Zelda based comic strip. This time around Link is looking to pad his wallet with some more classic pot smashing treasure hunting. However, he ends up not finding exactly what he is looking for, leading to a pseudo intellectual internet type to try and tell him how important what he found truly is. Of course, Link goes on to tell him to go buy new pots with it… which can’t be done. What I am talking about? Check out the comic to find out…

The Nintendo World store in New York City recently announced a special launch event for the reprint of the A Link to the Past graphic novel by Shotaro Ishinomori. As if there wasn’t enough festivities for West Coast fans to be jealous of, Nintendo World revealed through Instagram that an exclusive poster will be available to those purchasing the reprinted graphic novel. That’s right, in addition to a Q&A and a gallery of Ishinomori’s amazing artwork, the first 1,000 purchasers of the reprint will receive this exclusive poster…

Majora’s Mask 3D came out almost a month ago. The buzz about it is dying down, but it’s not gone yet! Gamers are still traversing the land of Termina, and commercials as well as ads are still being run to boost the sales of this 3D adventure.

Ever wondered how the masks are made? Dorkly has uploaded a comic centered on Majora’s Mask…
