Prepare for Heartache and Dread in this Video of the Top 10 Darkest/Saddest Moments in the Zelda Series

Behind the wonder and majesty of journeying through the land of Hyrule, there’s always darkness lying about. Not every person, creature, or quest you encounter has a happily ever after. There are those times when we realize how dark the outcome of events can become. There are 10 specific Zelda-based instances that Dr. Wily looked at in a recent video.
This episode of Wily’s show takes a look at the top 10 darkest and saddest moments in the Zelda series. This list of sorrowful moments tackles five games from the franchise, including Link’s Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, A Link Between Worlds, and Breath of the Wild.
Dr. Wily looks at such moments as the bonus end scene from Link’s Awakening, Link & Princess Zelda staring at Hyrule Castle at the end of Breath of the Wild, exploring the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time, discovering Lorule for the first time in A Link Between Worlds, and more. His top spot though, went to the Anju & Kafei side quest from Majora’s Mask.
