Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on November 20th. While fans in North America can look forward to standard physical or digital editions of the game, Japanese fans have a few additional options exclusive to their region, such as the already announced “Treasure Box” edition.
The official Japanese Hyrule Warriors Twitter account has announced that Japanese retail stores will offer a variety of bonus gifts alongside physical copies of the game. The gifts for each retailer are as follows:
- Game city: A4-size clear file of the cover art
- Rakuten Books: Microfiber cloth of the cover art
- Gamers: Mipha multicloth
- Animate: Link microfiber mini-cloth
- Wonder GOO: Cover art mug
- Fammys.com: B2 cloth poster of Link & Zelda
- Sofmap: Cover art B2 Tapestry
- Ebten: Cover art B3 tapestry
- Neowing: Cover art can magnet
- Furumoto/book square: Cover art postcard
- Amazon Japan: Panoramic colored paper
- Ami-ami: Cover art mousepad (A5 size)
- Lawson ・Loppi/ HMV: Link, Zelda, 4 champions cover art desk calendar
- Yodobashi Camera: Link, Zelda, 4 champions cover art stickers (A6 size)
- BicCamera Kojima: Cover art acrylic charm
Pre-orders are currently available for all retailers listed. You can click the links provided above or visit the official Age of Calamity website right here to pre-order.
The website states that “there are no bonuses for purchasing the digital version,” which means that these gifts will not be available to customers who buy the digital version of the game from the Japanese eShop. Images of the exclusive gifts are yet to be released, but we will provide further updates when they become available.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release for Nintendo Switch on November 20th.
