Synth-based music has been firmly in the limelight these days, with video games like Hyper Light Drifter and the the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 making strong use of it to set the perfect mood. This 80’s-style genre has even provided a whole new dimension to Zelda music, with its power felt in great fan remixes and projects like the recently-released The Legend of Synthwave.

That power is exactly what you get when listening to GLASYS’ new synth cover of “Palace Theme” from The Adventure of Link. While still maintaining the familiar sound of the NES classic, this cover takes some interesting and unexpected turns that give it a unique hook. In the end, its high energy and dynamic nature will fit perfectly in your synth playlist.
