I’m a sucker for synthesizers. Something about their electronic goodness awakens the deepest parts of my soul, making it impossible to do anything but appreciate. This electronic cover of A Link to the Past‘s Dark World theme by GLASYS perfectly captures the sounds and feelings I love most about that genre of music, delivering a solid arrangement that any Zelda fan can groove to.

Performed using the Prophet X synthesizer and the appropriately named “Dark World” reverb pedal, this bumpin’ arrangement by musician GLASYS is drenched in synthy goodness. The delectable tones recreate the iconic theme with style, only to fade into a satisfying breakdown featuring the Zelda Main Theme. Even the visuals accompanying the music are stylish, as GLASYS performs in a room reminiscent of Breath of the Wild‘s Shrines.

You can find tons more music on GLASYS’ YouTube channel right here, including medley of synth-based Zelda tunes.
