Check Out This Video Analysis of Link’s Strongest Defence!

Youtuber Dr. Wily recently uploaded a new video which showcases his analysis as to what item is, in fact, Link’s strongest defence. Dr.Wily begins by pointing out the important factors that he takes into consideration before weighing the pros and cons of each item in his analysis. Both strength and durability make a difference to his final decision, along with the size of the protection that the item provides.

The first item in the line up is the legendary Hylian Shield, which stood against the Demon King Demise in Skyward Sword, followed by the mythical Mirror Shield, as seen in Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. Dr.Wily then moves on to discuss the Magic Armor, which is worn by Link in both Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker; the Magic Armor was so remarkable that it offered protection against blows from Ganondorf himself. Last, but not least, Dr.Wily looks at the protection afforded by Nayru’s Love, which is granted by the Great Fairy of Magic in the Desert Colossus in Ocarina of Time. This gift encases Link in a diamond prism of protection that lasts for exactly one minute.

Dr.Wily comes to the conclusion that the Magic Armor is definitely the best form of defence in Link’s inventory. His reasoning behind the decision is that while it does use up Rupees in Twilight Princess, its source of power is easily obtainable through regular visits to Jovani and his cat, Gengle.
