Caption Contest 339: “Don’t look at me. I just work here.”
Posted on June 13 2022 by Rod Lloyd
What is up, Zelda fans?! As we sit on pins and needles waiting for Nintendo to announce their next Direct event, why don’t we distract ourselves with a little Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest? If the internet rumor mill is to be believed, this is the month we finally receive more information about Breath of the Wild‘s sequel. What could we see? New story info? Extended gameplay footage? A subtitle? All of the above, we hope! But until we finally get that tasty, new Nintendo Direct, we’ll just have to amuse ourselves with existing screenshots.
Our Last Contest:
I had to skip the contest last week after I came down with a pretty gnarly flu. Luckily, Link whipped up some tasty soup in our last contest.
Here are our photoshop caption winners:

Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Hero Of Time: “Hopefully my stew will be ready before my next game comes out.”
- Kestron: “I wonder if Bokoblin meat is edible or not…”
- Otwl: “Now, all I need is a ‘kiss the chef’ apron, and I’m good to go!”
- IceRod: “I’m sure Zelda can hold off Calamity Ganon a little longer. This dish simply cannot wait though!”
This Week’s Contest:
Link wants to tell us his secrets.
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
