Caption Contest 266: Craving a Good Book
Posted on August 31 2020 by Rod Lloyd
Hey there, everyone! The Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest is back again to put a smile on your face. During these strange times we’re living in, I’ve found that I have more free time at home than I’ve had in a long, long time. Generally, I’ve been using that newly acquired free time to watch more movies and work through my game backlog. But I had a thought the other day: why don’t I try to read more? I have a shelf full of unopened tomes at my disposal, and I’m now determined to crack one open. In honor of my newfound quest, here’s an image of another soul setting out to read a bit more.
Last Week’s Contest:
This carpenter got used to a new living situation last week.
By: Lone Wolf
Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Dylan: “This is because I said Ganondorf rules, wasn’t it?!”
- HersheyKisses101: “I’ve been framed!”
- IceRod: “This is where running around flailing your arms about will get you.”
- Undercover Nerd: “How we all felt when we heard school was starting back”
- Otwl: “Grrrr! Knew I shouldn’t have sold my ‘get out of jail free’ card to Link…”
This Week’s Contest:
What could this Cucco be reading?
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
