Zelda: On the Set

In a new animation by Machima we see a humurous look at the filming of an important scene in the Legend of Zelda. This time we see all of the problems that could come up between the actors and the director when filming. Including things like actors who cannot quite get their lines right, the director having trouble with the actors, and the problems that come up when using cue cards. Throughout the entire short you see the actors continually annoy the director until he decides to take another route. Jump inside to see it for yourself.

This was pretty funny, I especially like the change in the gentlemanly Ganondorf actor whenever they are not rolling. This might give us a better idea of just why they are not including voices in the games. Hearing a high pitched Link saying “The triforce will never be yours!” may throw a few people off. Of course I think everyone would conclude the ending after watching only a minute.

So what do you think? Did you like the video? Think this is why we do not have voices in the games? Let us know in the comments below.
