With the recent 25th Anniversary Zelda Concerts from Nintendo, fans have been inspired to contribute to the milestone in their own way. I’m not sure if you know who Lindsey Stirling is, but she is a successful violinist who has performed at a number of events ranging from America’s Got Talent to half time shows at NBA games. She plays violin in all different genres from hip hop to techno and has made a career out of it.

Recently Lindsey made a music video for the Zelda Medley which includes several of the more famous Zelda songs played one after another. The video was of her dressed as Link venturing through a dungeon and a wooded area. The video has so much success attention that earlier today she released a video of the live version where she plays both lead and rhythm for the songs in the same video. Through what I imagine would be countless hours of practice and video editing the final video is nothing short of amazing and proves she is a true Zelda fan. If you’re interested in checking it out for yourself be sure to make the jump!

As a musician myself I can appreciate the effort it takes to learn and practice a new song and from past experiences in editing some of my own videos to have the “twin effect” seen in this video I can honestly say the time it must have taken to play the many different parts to the lead and rhythm versions of this song without having anything to keep time and still have everything perfectly in sync while dancing must have taken forever. I hope all of you enjoyed this video as much as I did. Leave us your thoughts in the comments below and remember to check back for more updates!
