Linktober hosted their first ever Zelda Creator Con over the weekend, as different content creators, artists, and vendors from across the Zelda community came together for a massive virtual event. Though Zelda Creator Con’s main show came to a conclusion Sunday night, host and organizer Joel Siegel announced that the event’s website will remain open for an additional two weeks! That means if you missed the main event over the weekend, you still have a chance to view everything on the show’s website until June 29th.

Attendees will still need to purchase a $1 ticket over at Linktober’s website right here. A ticket grants you access to the Zelda Creator Con website so you can see all of the cool pages for everyone who participated. There is also a public Discord for attendees to chat with participants and other attendees. Many different streams occurred over the weekend and, with the extension, there will be even more streams over the next few weeks. But unlike the main show, there will be no set stream schedule and streams will happen at any time during the day.

Zelda Creator Con was created and hosted by Joel Siegel of Linktober, who garnered interest from a variety of Zelda content creators and influencers. The main show featured artists, cosplayers, and other vendors in the Zelda community showing off their work and chatting with attendees. Many even took part in special streams to complete art, play games, or just chat with attendees. We saw cosplay presentations, art demonstrations, and some gaming streams! Zelda Dungeon’s very own David Nystrom discussed his novel The Era Without A Hero, and I myself hosted an art stream featuring water color paintings of a few of the Divine Beasts from Breath of the Wild. The close of the main show featured an Instagram Q&A session with Amelia Gotham, the voice actress of Mipha from Breath of the Wild!

It truly was an amazing weekend, and the fun continues for a little bit longer. Attendees will have access to the Zelda Creator Con website and future streams until June 29th. You can purchase tickets here.
