Since the Ocarina of Time manga’s release in 2000, artist duo Akira Himekawa has gone on to adapt most of Link’s subsequent adventures. Throughout the past year, VIZ Media has been localizing their Twilight Princess series, with one new volume releasing every six months. The latest batch of chapters hits bookstore shelves today.

Volume 3 of the Twilight Princess manga is available for $9.99 on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other retailers.

If the first two volumes are any indication, this should be another terrific read. Although this adaptation is fairly loose with certain aspects of the original story, it maintains the essence of what made it great. In some cases — particularly in regards to the Hylian Hero himself — the manga even expands upon the source material in pleasantly surprising ways.

Do you plan on picking this up, though? Have you read the previous two volumes? If so, have you been enjoying the series? Share you thoughts in the comments below!
