Upgrade Your Power With This Weapon Fusing Guide For Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

For those trying a Hyrule Warriors game for the first time, the weapon fusing mechanic in Age of Calamity likely came as a shock. The system for upgrading weapons is convoluted at best, and Koei Tecmo certainly doesn’t provide much guidance for players beyond the nebulous symbols on the weapons themselves. However, this recent video from Croton gifts Zelda fans some much needed assistance and is well worth watching.

The tips in this video are sure to relieve some of the most frustrating aspects of weapon enhancement, including the skyrocketing cost and low payoff with higher ranked weapons. One especially helpful suggestion is to find random weapons with “fusion material XP” bonuses, use those for creating a highly advanced weapon, then fusing that powerful weapon to the actual one players want to upgrade.
