The iconic rain and mysterious music will forever be etched in my mind when I think of the opening to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. As a young fan of seven years old, I got to play the early demo at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, Washington in what would become a core memory of my childhood. The rain, the telepathic message from Zelda, waking from sleep, these things set the tone for one of the greatest Zelda adventures of all time.

Now thanks to artist edlothian, fans can enjoy a diorama of Link’s house from A Link to the Past that absolutely burns with nostalgia.

My favorite parts of this project are the details and little nods to the game. Of particular interest to me are the Medallions on Link’s shelf, along with the Fire Rod in his room. Including the overworld map beneath the house was an especially nice touch!
