The Wind Waker HD Might Get a Price Drop

The recent offer from Nintendo, giving fans a chance to register Mario Kart 8 and download one of four other games for free, has caused some Zelda fan speculation. An image showing the downloadable games, including The Wind Waker HD, mentions the dollar value of the games. However the value shown seems rather low, leading people to believe that the prices of these games may drop soon.

Right now, The Wind Waker HD sells for about $50 at most stores, so if the labeled “value” of $39.99 means that they will soon be at that price, it would go down by a whole $10. It may not seem like much, but it really is a significant amount to stay in your wallet, especially if you decide that you want more than one of these games.

The Mario Kart 8 deal is certainly a great one, and I would personally recommend it to anyone wishing for The Wind Waker HD, or any of the games up for free download. Why pass up two games for the price of one?
