On Thursday, April 11th, the 20th BAFTA Games Awards will highlight the “outstanding level of creative excellence” from a variety of developers across the world. While BAFTA is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the organization behind the ceremony has been honoring innovations and achievements in videos games for the past two decades. The first BAFTA Game Awards were given out in February 2004, where The Wind Waker won the Adventure Game award. At the 2018 BAFTA Game Awards, Breath of the Wild won the Game Innovation award.

At this year’s BAFTA Games Awards, Tears of the Kingdom has been nominated for six awards including Best Game, Game Design, Audio Achievement, Music, Technical Achievement, and EE Players’ Choice. The EE Player’s Choice award is the only award that is voted on by the public. A panel of experts and enthusiasts from the across the gaming industry selected the six EE Players’ Choice Award nominees from a long list of eligible games. You can vote for the EE Players’ Choice Award here.
