Today, Nintendo decided to launch an avalanche of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U screeshots at us, showing off mostly Ness’, Wario’s and Falco’s appearances in the HD version of the game. I personally can’t get enough of the detailed textures, especially noting how fresh and clear the floor tiles and backgrounds look. The other character models and their expressions are also worth mentioning, seemingly oozing personality from…

Screenshots of Japan’s Club Nintendo exclusive A Link Between Worlds Soundtrack have emerged, and it looks beautiful. Though currently exclusive to Japan, we can still admire the exquisite art and design of the inserts and disks encased within. Make the jump to check out the pictures!

A brand new wave of screenshots have surfaced online, showing new DLC costumes for Hyrule Warriors, the Dynasty Warriors/Zelda spinoff for Wii U

Good afternoon and welcome back friends, fans, and cyber interlopers (you know who you are) to our (very late) Tuesday Weekly Feature: the Photoshop Contest! For those who are new to this feature, fear not; this is a very straightforward contest. Simply photoshop or otherwise alter the image, screenshot, or whatever it is we give you for the week and turn it into something hilarious, cool, or anything in between! Once you’re fully satisfied with your creation, post it (make sure you’re logged in!) in the comments section at…

The official website for Super Smash Bros. has been updated to give details on general items, Pokémon, and assist trophies in the newest entries. There’s a little new and old in every category, but we are going to take a look at everything that has been detailed on the website. For players who just enjoy Smash as a casual experience with friends, the items look promising as far as creating a fun and fair experience. If you lean more on the competitive side however, you may or may not see these items depending on how you prefer to play. Either way, there are definitely some new tactics and strategies…

Well, Sakurai has revealed even more details about Shulk and how his moves will work. After this morning’s reveal, he posted on Miiverse regarding the newcomer’s fighting abilities. It seems that he will have two different fighting modes: one with his Monado activated, and one using the Monado arts. The Monado activated gives him a longer range sword attack. However, Sakurai points out that the Monado arts are what is most interesting about Shulk because there are five different arts he can use…

Today we have what many are considering to be one of the most legit leaks for the new Smash Bros. games to date, though honestly they can’t be legit until proven to be true. Right now there is evidence going both ways as to the validity of this leak, and it’s far too close to call definitively. I personally think they are 100% fake – but I am in the minority and seemingly for pretty good reasons. I’m not here to decide for you, but for you to look at the given information and decide for yourself. All of the images associated with the leak…

While we had a tease for this earlier, today we have official confirmation that Meta Knight is now part of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS roster. This was announced through the Official Smash Bros. Website, though that didn’t stop Sakurai from chiming in on Miiverse. That’s actually one of my favorite parts of Miiverse – that it gives us this direct connection to the developers behind the games…
