It’s been a while, but our weekly Caption Contest is back! Last time, Ghirahim was creeping a little too close to Link which brought about, as expected, some pretty “interesting” replies. As we are trying to keep this site kid friendly, there were some we couldn’t present in our post. However, if you really wanna see some of the more mature content, you can check them out here. All of the entries were great and I don’t think this week will fail to deliver either. This time around, we’re featuring another Skyward Sword scene with Zelda giving Groose the “what’s what”. As always,we are continuing the trend of featuring the images and text captions that were your favorites. Enjoy!

Brazilian illustrator, Cássio Yoshiyaki Shibukawa, has wowed the online art community with his CGI-style renditions of Princess Zelda (Tetra), and Link. Obviously The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker inspired, these two pieces of art are absolutely beautiful and capture the atmosphere of The Wind Waker perfectly, being almost Dreamworks or Pixar-like in appearance…

Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing the second wave of Amiibo figures in December (19th in Europe, 31st in America). There are six new figures which include Princess Zelda, Diddy Kong, Pit, Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Little Mac. Pre-orders for the Amiibo figures have now opened at certain retailers and all links can be found inside…

Sheik and Zelda have always been the same character – both in Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros., and even yes (spoiler warning)… Hyrule Warriors. That has changed in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS… because of the 3DS. Just like the Ice Climbers were cut due to limitations of the 3DS hardware, so too were characters that could transform – basically, Sheik and Zelda along with Samus and Zero Suite Samus. Any character that had multiple forms would need those forms to be their own character, or not be present at all, if they wanted to really keep platform…

You have a very important mission ahead of you… I will wait here. That’s what we princesses have always done. From what I understand, it’s kind of a family tradition. – Princess Zelda (Spirit Tracks) If it were to be told as a legend, The Legend of Zelda is pretty much always the tale of a princess in peril rescued by a brave hero in green who vanquishes evil and restores her to her rightful throne. A few times she’s…

How is it already Friday again? Regardless of my lack of time management, it’s time to feature another fan fiction in our weekly segment. Last week, Laura threw us for a loop with a story that seemed to have such a definitive ending, and I can’t wait to continue it. This week, we are featuring another story based around our beloved princess. It’s yet another feature that has not reached completion, but it is our first crossover story. It follows Princess Zelda on her journey to the Super

Nintendo has posted a trio of new videos to their YouTube channel, showcasing each of Link and Zelda‘s DLC costumes for Hyrule Warriors. Now, it’s just the videos that are “new” here, not the actual content within them—we’ve seen all these scenes and more in previous trailers and gameplay vids. Still, it’s a good reminder of what’s at stake for anyone who has yet to preorder the game. We’re just over three weeks away from the game’s release in North America, so…

When it comes to the Princess of Hyrule, nobody really knows what to expect. She’s been at every point of the spectrum when it comes to her role in the story: in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, she was put into an eternal sleep; she has been captured multiple times throughout the series; she has stood strong against great evil and even sacrificed herself for the Twilight Princess, Midna; in the new Hyrule Warriors she is even on the front lines of war as a playable character. Her importance is always great but her presence constantly waivers, which is what brings us to the topic of today’s Daily Debate…

Warning: This post contains spoilers.

More images from the official Japanese Hyrule Warriors art book have emerged. Along with the photos, we have also gathered up some translated details from within the book.

This post does contain spoilers, so it should be noted that if you do not want the game spoiled then this post is not for you. However, if that’s not a concern for you…

The Legend of Zelda has been out for many years, with Zelda at its side since the beginning, but for some odd reason, she has always been called a “princess”. As of recently, Hyrule Warriors has come out with an interesting situation: our lovely Princess Zelda has been promoted to Queen Zelda. Of course, Hyrule Warriors is non-canonical, which means that in reality, she is still a princess, but we can dream a little bit…
