More Details and Screenshots From the Hyrule Warriors Art Book

Hyrule Warriors art book have emerged. Along with the photos, we have also gathered up some translated details from within the book.
This post does contain spoilers, so it should be noted that if you do not want the game spoiled then this post is not for you. However, if that’s not a concern for you, the translated details are below.
In regards to
Link‘s design:
We had many different ideas for the concept “Link running around the battlefield”. For example, we considered Japanese style armor and heavy armor, but in order to make dashing around the plains look pretty, we decided on the simple design with a blue scarf. This scarf can be worn only by a person who leads Hyrule’s royal army, so it is a special proof of one’s worth.
In regards to
Cia‘s design:
Since Cia is Lana’s polar opposite with her evil heart, her main colors are also the opposite of that of Lana. By having noble metals on her sexy body, Cia’s greedy nature was expressed visually.
In regards to
Impa‘s design:
In this game, in order to strengthen the Japanese style look of the Sheikah tribe, Japanese style armor was taken as one motif. Design’s details took some inspiration from Impa in
Skyward Sword as well.
Also included in the details is some information about the different weapons and plot points for the story. Again, here is where the
spoilers start getting heavy.

- Lana has a magic Book of Spirits, Sealed Magic Book, and Magic Book of Heavens
- Lana has gate of time, Watcher’s Gate, and Gate of Rebirth
- Ghirahim has Demon’s Sword, Demon’s Longsword, and Demon’s Black Blade Sword
- Link has Knight’s Sword, White Sword, and Magical Sword
- Link has Fire Rod, Red Rod, and Magical Rod
- Link has Silver Gloves, Gold Gloves, and Power Gloves
- Zelda has Baton of Winds, Holy Baton, and Baton of Affection
- Ruto has Silver Scale, Gold Scale, and Scale of Water Dragon
- Ganondorf has Evil King’s Swords, Swords of Everlasting Darkness, and Swords of Demise
- Agitha has Butterfly parasol, Luna Parasol, and Princess Parasol
- Sheik has Goddess’ Harp, Harp of Storms, and Sheikah Harp
- Fi has Goddess’ Sword, Goddess’ Longsword, and Goddess’ White Blade Sword
- Darunia has Magic Hammer, Hammer of Flames, and Megaton Hammer
Story Points
- Cia creates Wizzro with the power of a dark ring.
- Wizzro has an ability to change his form to anyone he wishes and thus deceives humans.
- The legendary hero of old slayed Ganondorf and sealed his soul as four separate fragments.
- However, Ganondorf manipulated Cia to bring those fragments together and thus was reborn.
