This Monday we have an old Magical Game Time comic, one from over two years ago. It’s short, and aside from Link’s innocent smile it’s not a funny comic. Over the years Zac Gorman’s drawings have improved, so in that respect it may not even seem completely like a Magical Game Time comic. But the messages he puts in his drawings, the parts of his comic that really count is there in its entirety. His revelations about what the Zelda series…

This week on Monday Comic corner we have our first comic from AWKWARD ZOMBIE. Not only that, but, as you might have guessed from the title, this comic specifically features content from Oracle of Seasons, which isn’t talked about too often when Zelda is mentioned. I’m not exactly sure why this is, but it’s most likely because the handheld Zelda games just aren’t played as often as the “big” console titles, like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. But without further ado, hit…

In last week’s comic feature with Brawl in the Family we saw a small crossover between Link and Mario’s world. This week, in a bit of a parody of Wife Swap, brentalfloss the comic explored what would happen if Link traversed the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario jumped around Hyrule. In both cases, the minions of Ganondorf and Bowser lose, but Link and Mario seem content with their tasks. Hit the jump to read the comic!

Probably my favorite announcement at this hectic E3 was name of the new Zelda game, A Link Between Worlds, particularly because A Link to the Past, its main inspiration, is one of my favorite Zelda games. The new mechanics Nintendo is employing, such as the wall walking, will hopefully be as fun to utilize as they seem in the trailer. This wall walking also seems to make good comic material, so let’s see what Brawl in the Family has for…

This is a little bit of an older comic by Zac Gorman from Magical Game Time, but it’s probably something we’ve all asked ourselves when we play through a Zelda title. Why exactly does Link save everyone, besides the fact that he’s a fictional video game character? Does he do it for Zelda, his own will, or the betterment of the entire land? As players, we don’t really know because Link’s opinion is never shared. We’re left guessing. Hit the…

There are a lot of magical items in the Zelda series, but perhaps the ones taken most for granted are the bracelet and gauntlets that give you extra strength in Ocarina of Time. For some reason, “Goron’s Bracelet” and “Silver Gauntlets” didn’t stick in my head quite like “Power Glove” from A Link to the Past. But if the gauntlets gave you a boost on more than just the really heavy stuff, then maybe we’d notice the difference. Hit the jump to…

Fairies in Zelda games are always a bonus, and ever since being able capture them for later use in A Link to the Past, fairies have proven to be a valuable resource in desperate times. However, catching things that move in sporadic patterns right before a difficult boss isn’t always the easiest task. Especially when you’re just waving around a glass bottle, like in Ocarina of Time. And sometimes you give the fairy just a touch. Hit the jump to read the comic!

This week we have a comic from a new source: Jim Benton. If you frequent reddit, you may have seen some of his other comics, such as Dr. Sheila’s Robot, or anything miscellaneous that he draws. This time, however, he’s drawn a Zelda comic, and of course in his light-hearted humorous style. Every guy should know that carrying your wallet in your back pocket can cause some back problems, depending on what you sit on. Just the few bills and cards you…

Sometimes things in video games are backwards. Often they’re intentionally backwards for ironic and comedic effect, and these are usually obvious to the player. Other times, though, situations in games can be backwards by accident, such as this example from Skyward Sword. Alex from Corpse Run Comics seems to do a good job finding these kinds of things in the Zelda series, even if we may have all considered the ideas when we were playing. Hit the jump to read the comic!

brentalfloss the comic has existed for quite some time now, and there have been a few Zelda related comics, but this will be the first time we’ve featured one on Monday Comice Corner! This comic features Link, Twilight Princess Zelda, the Dark World, Ganon, and in good brentalfloss fashion, Taco Bell. Can you guess what’ll happen? Hit the jump to find out!
