Monday Comic Corner – Same Day, Different Dungeon

In last week’s comic feature with Brawl in the Family we saw a small crossover between Link and Mario’s world. This week, in a bit of a parody of Wife Swap, brentalfloss the comic explored what would happen if Link traversed the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario jumped around Hyrule. In both cases, the minions of Ganondorf and Bowser lose, but Link and Mario seem content with their tasks. Hit the jump to read the comic!
Link seems to be sadistically enjoying slashing through goombas and koopa troopers, and his facial expression is quite concerning. Mario has no problem whatsoever handling tektites, octoroks, and moblins, and he too shows no sign of regret in taking away the life of Hyrule’s creatures. In fact, his smile is challenged only by those of the clouds in the Mushroom Kingdom.
This, however, leaves both Ganondorf and Bowser satisfied because they each have a new princess captured! Neither Princess Zelda nor Princess Peach is quite as happy as Link or Mario, however, as their captured state is still pretty much the same after the World Swap.
Who knows whether Mario could best Ganondorf, or if Link can slay the evil Bowser. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
