Earlier this month, we reported that specific retailers were giving away exclusive DLC costume packs for Hyrule Warriors. Ever since then, we have been waiting for confirmation that the DLC packs were going to be made available by other means. We already know that Club Nintendo members who register their game will receive a code for an exclusive Ganondorf costume set. However, the other costume sets were stirring up a lot of controversy. People who wanted everything the game had to offer would be out of luck unless they bought the game from each retailer. Finally, we have confirmation…

Nintendo recently announced in the Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct that there will be an exclusive pre-order bonus: a download code for a costume pack. There are three packs currently available, two of which are being offered by GameStop and Amazon. Hit the jump for more details!

After yesterday’s shift to Link and Zelda after new details regarding their costumes, the focus has switched right back onto Ganondorf with another trailer from the official Japanese website. While we got a similar trailer in the form of the “legacy” trailer for Europe a few days ago, this one is slightly different and only focuses on the Demon King’s costumes. There’s still no word as to what the secondary weapon for this character will be, but with less than a week remaining until the Japanese release, it can’t be long until…

After learning that the Link and Zelda costume DLC would be retailer exclusive at launch for Hyrule Warriors we have patiently been waiting to see what retailers would get what. We now know at least what one popular video game retailer will have and it paints a rather clear picture of what we can expect from at least two other retailers in the future. GameStop has updated their website to include the pre-order bonus and they likely just increased the focus of pre-orders to them for the time being…

There’s a 100% chance that we all saw this coming. It was stated earlier yesterday that there was a high chance of a new fighter in Hyrule Warriors, and sure enough that turned out to be true.. it just happened a bit sooner than expected. Fi, the “spirit” of the Master Sword that was introduced to us in Skyward Sword (finally, something not from Twilight Princess) will be making her way into Hyrule Warriors.

In addition, Link will be swinging around his familiar Ball & Chain weapon that was introduced in Twilight Princess. It’s not 100% the same as Link now carries around some fancy new gloves, perhaps the Power Gloves/Gauntlets, while using the weapon. Zelda appears to have a new weapon as well. It appears to be the Wind Waker and it creates wind based attacks along with what appears to be a music scale. Another possibility is for Zelda to be using a staff/pole as a weapon. Head past the jump for more!

A slew of new details and images about the upcoming Hyrule Warriors has come in through their website since E3 this year. But now, we finally have our first look at two of the alternate costumes to be released with Japanese versions of the game. Read on and see the images for yourself.

Hello Zelda Dungeon. In today’s second Collection Spotlight, we see that collectors come in all shapes and types. Some collectors gather games, some collect guides, and some collect keychains and posters. Other collectors shy away from merchandise and seek to create their own props and costumes that they can identify as their own. Today’s Collection Spotlight features Nick, who wanted to be a real life Link. This collector shows us that Link can be created by searching autobody shops and…
