Nintendo Announces Retailer-Exclusive DLC for Pre-Orders of Hyrule Warriors

In tonight’s Nintendo Direct, the company announced that the alternate costumes we’ve seen of Zelda and Link will be coming to the west via pre-order bonuses. The Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time themed costumes had been confirmed for a special edition of the game in Japan. Now we know how the data is reaching us North American folks with our burgers and our patriots.

Nintendo has confirmed that the alternate costumes will be available as pre-order bonuses at exclusive retailers. The packs are grouped by game; for example, both

Twilight Princess themed costumes come together. It’s yet to be seen if all six are available from the same retailer or if the three pairs will come from three different companies.
